I'll admit I tend to get into a wintertime rut when I get dressed - jeans, boots, sweater - but every so often I switch it up and remember how a little change can go a long way. Last week my mom and I went shopping on a particularly wet, rainy day which meant it was a Bean Boot day. Usually I just throw on my favorite pair of jeans, but decided to see how my olive skinnies from Old Navy would look instead and was pleasantly surprised. If you follow me on
Instagram (which you should!) you already saw this outfit, but for those of you who haven't I've included the pics below-
My top layer wasn't that ground breaking, but I really loved the way it came together. I usually wear my Barbour jacket but I felt like olive pants and an olive jacket was a bit overboard. I got this J. Crew jacket last year for Christmas and definitely see myself wearing it a ton this winter/spring! I'm looking forward to playing around with layers and subtle changes to mix up my closet this season. I'll be sure to share my favorite looks! What is your winter "uniform"? Let me know!

Just found your blog :) The ON skinnies look really good with the boots, but I really love the J.Crew jacket, especially the color with gold buttons!
